WHY IT MATTERS
Survival from sudden cardiac arrest depends on how quickly help is provided.
Without CPR and defibrillation, survival is typically less than 10%
When bystander CPR is started promptly and an AED is used early, survival can increase to more than 40%
Survival chances decrease by 10% for every minute that immediate CPR and use of an AED is delayed.

WHO IT'S FOR
Everyone Can Be a Lifesaver
You don’t need medical training to use an AED:
-
AEDs give clear voice and visual prompts
-
They are designed for use by everyday people in real emergencies
-
They automatically analyze the heart rhythm and determine whether a shock is needed
